Join us at Caledonia and retreat to a space that celebrates the partnership of art-nouveau and the incredible backdrop of the beautiful Campsie Hills. In the 18th century, Glasgow became home to the developing art-nouveau movement. A group of very influential artists pioneered what later became known as ‘The Glasgow Style’ – using mixed mediums such as stained glass and textiles; as well as colour tones of pinks, purples, and greens to differentiate themselves from the mainland European artnouveau style.
