Captain Thornton’s dream was rather different – to offer the finest fish and chips in Yorkshire. Since his earliest days as a lowly deckhand in his local chippy, the captain’s fascination and passion with the fish and chip industry was plain to behold. As the young deckhand grew, fate took him far from his humble roots but he never forgot his passion.
