The Novel Coffee Shop, is located at 94A London Rd, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 1PG, UK The Novel Coffee Shop – Southend Mencap Southend Mencap is a registered charity. The charity’s main aim is to serve the interests and needs of children and adults with learning disabilities, as well as those of their parents and carers, in the south east of Essex. ‘The Novel Coffee Shop’ opened it’s doors on Wednesday 11th April at 98 London Road! It offers a variety of freshly ground coffees, served by our barista trained staff, as well as a range of teas and of course homemade cakes. We’ve made it our mission to source the most delicious cakes, so be sure to pop in for a slice! Cream teas are also available and in the not too distant future afternoon teas too. Combine this with a browse around the shop for a book/DVD/Vinyl/CD.
