Food was incredible, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Was brought to the restaurant by a family member as a surprise birthday meal. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return again myself! Cannot fault anything from the evening I had dining at Prima restaurant in Newcastle. I have been here several times and never had a bad experience. The food is lovely. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating (we need to sit somewhere not too noisy as my friend has hearing problems) They even turned down the music for us. I would highly recommend here. We were at Prima last night. Seven adults, and children ten eight and two. It was the most relaxed family meal we have ever had mainly due to the fantastic staff who every time they came to the table entertained the children! We arrived on Saturday evening without a booking and they managed to seat our party of 5 which was fantastic. The starters were very generous portion sizes and tasted great. Each of us ordered a different pasta for our mains and there was not a complain between us, the food was exquisite . Will certainly be coming again next year! HWhincup 12. September, 2022. We prebooked a table here prior to the Great North Run and glad we did, obviously a very popular and busy restaurant. And it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, our group had a selection of pastas and pizzas which were all lovely. The staff were very polite and attentive, would definitely return if back in Newcastle.
