The Royal Horseshoes Inn, is located at 4 Melton Rd, Melton Mowbray, LE14 4AJ, UK The Royal Horseshoes The Royal Horseshoes dates back to the mid 15th century and is protected by a grade Ⅱ listing. A very traditional pub boasting a copper bar and a beautiful thatched roof. The Horseshoes became The Royal Horseshoes back in 1843 following a visit from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Pub sign features Victoria as a princess on her favourite grey horse. The heritage continues inside with the doors and bar panels having been saved from Buckminister Hall which was destroyed by a fire in the 1920’s. | |
