Stamford park is situated on the historic boundary between Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge, that also being the historic boundary between Lancashire and Cheshire.
Ridgehill Big Local Enterprises are happy to announce the opening of Stamford Park boating lake for the 2022 season.Opening on the 1st of May and weekends thereafter we will be running paddleboard sessions and our usual open public pedalo and rowing boat sessions.For our paddleboard sessions please contact Ridgehill enterprises messenger to book a weekend session at 10:30am and 11:45am (£15.00/hr).The pedalo/rowing boat open public sessions will run weekends from 1pm until 5pm (last boat 4:30pm £5.00 for 2+ £8.00 for 4+). Please check our Facebook page (Ridgehill Enterprises) for details of school and bank holiday opening. Private parties, community group and business group events available.
