We were greeted at the door by a lady that showed us to our table and then we were subsequently forgotten about for nearly 20 minutes. I asked a waiter for the wine list and then he asked us if we had seen the menus looking very surprised when we said we had not. We ordered the wine which came fairly quickly and then the meal. We ordered Olives and garlic bread to begin. The olives arrived after some time but no sign of the bread. When we were about to give up the bread arrived but with it the starters we had ordered so the bread was sent back. The waiter was very apologetic. Eventually we were served the mains. A steak ordered medium to well that turned up almost raw and Ravioli that was simply flat pasta with no filling in a beef sauce. Against out better judgement we ordered Limoncello Sorbet to be told after 10 minutes they had sold out. The staff were very good and worked hard but they were clearly overwhelmed with the number of covers and the food was frankly awful. From his recommandations to his service everything was good . Food was very good , I had a Pinot Grigio which was also Ismail’s recommandation and I don’t regret it at all . As a dessert I had the Tiramisu which is by far the best I have ever had ! Thank you Ismail and Olivo ! The staff is so friendly and very professional, special mention to Nick our server, always willing to help with a smile on his face and the food… OMG. They also gave me a surprise for my birthday, (everything planned by my boyfriend hehe), it made me cry!. We cannot be happier everytime we go to Olivo.
