Tapri Indian Bar & Grill, is located at 1-3 Manor Rd, Birmingham, B73 6EJ, UK Tapri – Indian Bar & Grill Our Tapri journey begins years ago with a family holiday to Mumbai, India. Whilst there we went to a stall on the corner of a street where a man was serving tea. People kept calling him “Tapri-wallah”; we have all heard the term Chai-wallah (meaning someone who serves tea) but this was a new one for us. Tapri means “tea-stall” in Marathi but it was so much more than that. There was no dress code, no division; people of all walks of life were there, just enjoying this delicous cup of chai. | |
