Ayla is set amongst some great Georgian architecture in the heart of Newcastle on well know Grey Street. A welcoming environment for dining with friends, family or as couples.
We believe, for customers to enjoy true Indian food, it should be cooked just like in an Indian home, freshly prepared with the most fragrant and authentic spices. So just like in our homes, the food in Ayla is freshly cooked when ordered. This is to allow our diners to experience the fresh aroma of each dish, as well as its full flavour straight from the stove or clay oven to the diners table.
There is modern twist of flavours from various regions of India can be found in the dishes prepared and served here in Ayla.
In India many love food sourced from the sea, and with Newcastle being so close to the coast Ayla has included seafood dishes in its menu. Our seafood dishes are created using fresh fish from our local fishermen at the famous Fish Quay.
